Minute Media reveals the new look and feel of Sports Illustrated’s network of hyper-focused, localized team sites, ‘On SI’ (previously FanNation).
After obtaining the publishing rights to Sports Illustrated earlier this year, Minute Media has been hard at work completing the transition and implementing changes to usher the editorial platform into a new era. One such change was the rebrand of FanNation to re-align the sites closer to SI’s national coverage and create greater brand recognition among their niche audiences. Thus, ‘On SI’ was born.
‘On SI’ features the same, localized reporting that fans have come to love and rely on, just with a fresh look. These sites are also now underpinned by Minute Media’s technology stack, allowing for greater video and editorial capabilities.
