Minute Media Releases 2023 Impact Report

In 2023, Minute Media teamed up with an independent third party to conduct a peer group benchmarking exercise as well as an internal Impact assessment to better understand our purpose driven initiatives, successes and growth areas. 

We have seen first hand how sports has the innate power to give a platform to underrepresented voices, stimulate impactful conversations and create real world change. We believe that as a leader in sports storytelling, it is our responsibility to leverage our global reach, technology and brand strength to make an impact. Through the process of this internal assessment, our Impact Team pulled together key examples of our work, both internally for our people as well as externally together with our stakeholders, partners and wider community. This holistic Impact framework, promises that our impact work is strategic and focused, we call it “Our  4 C’s of Impact”:

Culture

Building a diverse, inclusive and purpose-driven culture that truly represents the world we want to see and implementing inclusive practices that enable every employee to thrive and succeed. 

Content

Leveraging our global content platform to power responsible storytelling that advances progress in areas such as gender and racial equity, inclusion, and sustainability.

Commercial

Reaching out to our ecosystem and building partnerships that help us amplify the causes we care closely about and drive societal change on a larger scale. 

Community

Putting our specialist skills and passion into action to uplift our communities through volunteering, charitable giving and pro bono work. 

Within this framework we have aimed to further important conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion and make actionable change within our communities. Throughout 2023 we successfully stood up internal processes and initiatives focused on our people’s growth and success; launched new franchises that gave voices to underrepresented communities; partnered with like-minded influential brands to bring these messages to broader audiences; and gave back to our communities through tangible, results-driven projects. 

As we look to 2024, especially with the inclusion of STN Video and Sports Illustrated in our portfolio, we are committed to continue this journey, embracing a humble and curious approach to finding new ways to make an impact.
